I’ve been playing Magic for many years and in that time the game has continued to evolve. White borders all changed to black borders, card frames became more “modern,” painted pictures changed to photoshop paintings and style guides became a thing. Planeswalkers joined the party, cards started being two-faced and grew in power with each set. The game has even evolved into the digital age where people across the world can play Magic together online.

Commander is a format that is very diverse. You pick out a general, throw together your most synergistic 99 cards and go for the gusto. To get the most fun out of the deck you’re probably going to want a multi-colored general. With that comes the need for mana fixing. This list is of my top mana fixers that can pretty much fit in any multi-colored commander deck. Lots of them are cheap to acquire too because…that’s how I roll. Check it.

This article is geared a little more towards the less experienced Magic player or deck builder. Generally when building a new deck it’s due to a few possible reasons. It could be for a particular strategy type like making the opponent discard or having cheap efficient spells. Sometimes it could be to combat strategies in the current meta. Other times it is because there’s a card that looks like fun to build around. This article is about one of the “other” times.
