Written by Hello everyone! This is Brennan Michael DeCandio finally getting out there and doing some Magic Online draft videos for a website. Can’t express how good it feels to be doing this, it really is something I enjoy doing and have the necessary skill set for through hundreds upon hundreds of hours of practice for nearly 12 years now. If you don’t know me that’s fine. Little back story, I’ve been playing since I was very young back at a casual comic store with everyone’s favorite beginners deck, Elves. I’ve since gone from the literal kitchen table magic to playing at the worlds biggest stages with my first, and so far only, Pro Tour appearance at PT Philadelphia in the Modern format. I’ve strived since then to return to that pinnacle and have come close with very strong and consistent finishes at every PTQ I’ve played at since then. I grind mostly on magic online now a days with my personal life taking up the majority of my time, but I make an effort to get out whenever I can to show up to the local Florida PTQ’s and with Modern being my favorite format and this coming January 5th being the first opportunity to battle in that format, you better bet I’ll be there.
Anyways, enough about myself since it’s not about me, it’s about the cards. On to the draft!
We definitely deserved the record we posted, got a little luck with our opens and the fact that the colors were open. It’s magic, a game of luck and skill and this time we had a bit of both on our side. Till next time thanks for watching!
