{"id":1270,"date":"2012-06-20T00:28:36","date_gmt":"2012-06-20T04:28:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/?p=1270"},"modified":"2012-06-21T00:13:40","modified_gmt":"2012-06-21T04:13:40","slug":"updated-dci-bannedrestricted-list-june-20th-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/?p=1270","title":{"rendered":"Updated DCI Banned\/Restricted List &#8211; June 20th, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So Wizards has announced the updated quarterly Banned and Restricted list for Magic: the Gathering. \u00a0Lets see what has changed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Land Tax\" src=\"http:\/\/www.coolstuffinc.com\/images\/Products\/mtg%20art\/Legends\/Land%20Tax.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"312\" height=\"445\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Legacy, <a href=\"http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-mtg-helper\/mtg_helper_cardfinder.php?find=Land+Tax&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Land Tax<\/a> is now legal! \u00a0This card has been out of the loop since 2004 and will finally be legal again on July 1st, 2012. \u00a0I\u00a0don&#8217;t\u00a0know if it will break anything, but I expect to be trying some new decks out with this card. \u00a0<del>Since it\u00a0isn&#8217;t\u00a0legal until July 1st, it will miss the Legacy Grand Prix in Atlanta<\/del>. <strong>NOW Legal for GP Atlanta!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1271\" title=\"Trio Question Ban\" src=\"http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Trio.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Trio.jpg 575w, http:\/\/ajmtg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Trio-300x139.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So what was banned in Standard? \u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Nothing<\/strong><\/span>.
